Embassy builder sues State Department for $461 million 

An Alabama-based construction company, BL Harbert International, sued the State Department for $461 million, accusing it of refusing to pay for pandemic-era cost overruns at a dozen embassy and consulate projects. The company claims political appointees under Secretary of State Marco Rubio interfered with an agreed-upon settlement.
