DOJ deploying 1,000 poll monitors for midterms, official says

The Department of Justice plans to deploy 1,000 poll monitors during the midterm elections to ensure election laws are upheld. The DOJ has already deployed over 75 monitors across five states and over 200 polling locations this primary season.
