DHS asks Supreme Court to let it use Social Security data to verify voter rolls

The Department of Homeland Security asked the Supreme Court to allow the use of Social Security Administration data to verify citizenship for voter registration. The administration contends this data would improve the accuracy of voter rolls and prevent noncitizens from voting.
