Democrats damn themselves with no-shows at hearing on fraud

Republicans on the Senate Homeland Security Committee held a hearing on fraud in welfare programs, with Senator Rand Paul chairing the session. None of the Democratic committee members attended the hearing, with Senator Gary Peters being the only Democrat present.
