Democrat mayor dramatically arrested over alleged $1.5million Covid loan fraud to fund campaign

Mayor Brian Depena of Lawrence was arrested and charged Friday in connection with an alleged fraud totaling over $1.5 million. Authorities stated the funds were obtained through Covid loan fraud.
