Conley: Refined Fuels Remain The Energy Problem

Heather Conley stated that improved crude flows through the Strait of Hormuz do not solve the energy problem as supplies of refined products remain constrained. Conley, a senior fellow at AEI and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, raised questions about the military's ability to protect its assets due to conflicting explanations regarding US bomber movements from the UK's Fairford airbase.
