Blanche's nomination for AG on hold over fate of DOJ's "anti-weaponization fund"

Republican Senator John Cornyn placed a hold on the nomination of Todd Blanche for U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. The hold is due to Cornyn's demand for modifications to a settlement agreement between the Justice Department and former President Trump regarding a lawsuit against the IRS.
