Appeals court deals biggest setback yet to Trump DOJ’s demands for confidential voter roll data

A federal appeals court rejected demands by the Justice Department that Michigan turn over non-public voter registration files. The 6th US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Michigan was not obligated to produce confidential voter data to the department.
