Amendment To Make Service Academies Accept Classic Learning Test Added To Military Budget

An amendment allowing the use of the Classic Learning Test instead of the SAT or ACT for service academy admissions was added to the military budget by the Senate Armed Services Committee. This change modifies existing admissions criteria for institutions such as the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and the U.S. Naval Academy.
