A Canadian town's famous warm welcome doesn't extend to US ambassador on 9/11 anniversary

The Mayor of Gander, Newfoundland, expressed surprise that the US ambassador to Canada, David MacNaughton, was not invited to the town's 9/11 anniversary commemoration. Gander famously hosted thousands of stranded air travellers on September 11, 2001.
